International Halal Product Expo 2008

Today, my family and I went to the International Halal Product Expo 2008 (IHPE 2008) that is currently held at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas… We had the opportunity to have a look at the products promoted.. There were various products sold… From raw meats to light snacks and biscuits… hehe…

Of course, when we talk about halal product, there must be new halal foods and drinks product… heheh… which means, it must come with something for everyone to have a taste… it also means…. FREE FOOD!!!!... hehe… I am one of the most active visitors who went here and there to enjoy the free food and drinks… hehe…

We arrived there at around 7.15pm Brunei time… And it was very crowded… Even some have to park outside of ICC parking area… hehe… I guess we were lucky to have parked our car near the side entrance… …

Vendors from several countries participated in this expo promoting their products, and having the purpose to gain popularity among Bruneian customers… hehe… Such event is held annually in Brunei… This is the 3rd the event is held..

We got out of the building at around 9.00pm.. And to my surprise, there are still people coming in!!! Even though the expo last till 10 o’clock!!... hehe… It’s like there’s no time limit to this expo!! I’m impressed… hehehehe…

The expo starts on the 14th of August and ends on 17th of August… And it’s operating hours is from 10 am till 10 pm…. So, it’s still on for the weekend… There is still time!!! Let us rush to ICC people!!! The expo lasts till this Sunday!!! Hehehe…

I will be going there this Sunday again…. FREE FOOD!!!…FREE FOOD!!!!… FREE FOOD!!!!!!

Golden Jubilee Dinner

2nd of August 2008 is a very historic day for my mom and her siblings , because on that particular day was the day they met their teachers and friends from SK Lutong… Their primary school back then… in a function called SK Lutong’s Golden Jubilee Dinner..

I wrote this because I accompanied them to the ceremony… hehe… I’m lucky to be there… hee…

The function was held at night, and we arrived in Miri at lunchtime… so, to burn time, we manage to go to the place where the school is located… As you can see, it is still standing and still producing lots of bright students. It is shown in the picture below…
The picture shows the parking area of the school located near near to the entrance of the school it self... Here lies lots of memories for them... How I wish I could be there to experience it all... hehe...

One of the famous old stories that they shared with me was about the famous Theater
in Lutong... Which now is used for the Borneo Christian Conference building... The famous theater was the place where my mom and siblings play around,watch movies,etc. when they were young... Here's the picture of the place mentioned...Hehe… It is really amazing that even after decades not meeting each other, they can still recognize their friends faces… walaupun, dah meningkat tua dah rupa atu… hehe…:p… I salute that!!! I hope I could still recognize my friend’s faces when I’m at their age now… hehehe…

National Hockey League is BACK!!!!

The National Hockey League is back!!!!! For your information, I've been playing hockey since 2005... And I'm enjoying it.. It has been one of my favourite sports since then.. The picture above is taken when I was watching a hockey match between SKIM JBS BRUNEI MUARA and TUTONG DISTRICT.. SKIM JBS BRUNEI MUARA won the match and I don't remember the score...

I'm also playing in the national hockey league this year... and I am playing with ABDB(Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei) 'A'.. I'm not saying I'm that good in hockey, but I cud say... Try me!! hehe... Forgot to mention that I play as a left defender or better known as DL(defender-left) or LWB(leftwing defender)...

This year, there are 8 teams in the league... So it means, there are 7 games to play... hehe...

In general, hockey is more or like the same as football... The difference are just the rules and the use of hockey sticks.. hehe... Undeniable, the game of hockey is dangerous... BUT, it is safe when we play by the rules... plus some alertness of saving ourselves from danger...

Currently, I'm having my hockey training whenever I have my freetime and whenever I am called to train by my team.. Because there will always be a match in the weekends... So, wish me luck in the national hockey league guys!!! hehe...

Graduation Ceremony For Airframe&Engine 23 and Avionics 11

Graduation day for me!!! horray!!! hehe... It was a very memorable day for me... Because on that day, I will receive my National Diploma in Aircraft Engineering certificate.. It is a graduation ceremony for Airframe and Engine Intake 23 & Avionics Intake 11... I am an Avionics student.

Ramai sangat orang datang... Around 300 people came, and the Commander of the airforce as the Guest of Honour.. I was really nervous jua sal I am one of the students yang akan jadi tumpuan smua orang... Ofcourse, it's our ceremony!!! hehe...


The picture here is the picture of the students yang akan graduate... There are 25 students altogether.. hehe... And I am focussed dsana... hee... (My sis yang ambil gambar bah...) hehe...
The best part of this graduation is the award for the Best Students... hehe... There are only 2 Best students - 1 for Airframe&Engine class... 1 for Avionics class.. Here's the picture of the Best Students...



Best student for Airframe&Engine is the girl in white and Guess who is the Best student for Avionics?? It's ME!!!! hehe... I made a name for myself!! hehe... I am happy with my achievements and with what i have done!! Here's another photo for you guys to look at...

Fishing as a hobby

Fishing is a growing hobby in Brunei.. me myself pun nda terkecuali having it as my hobby too...
I've started fishing since last year... and baru tahun ani kan start be-blog.. hehe.. Since, I'm into blogging right now, I want to share with all of you guys what I've been doing all this time.

All this time, I only fish ngan kawan-kawan arah riversides and beaches di Brunei ani, never in my life that I have gone fishing out to sea.. hehe...(will do when we have the chance..)

So far, gambar-gambar yang dipaparkan atutah saja yang pernah dinaikkan dan ditangkap.. hehe.. Not a very serious angler jua...(cuma turun untuk mengisi masa lapang...).. bila sibuk, ndatah mengail tue... hee...
