Hockey Update

Sorry guys… It’s been awhile that I didn’t post my activities… hehe…I’ve been busy these days… lots of work to do… hehe…

Ok, now..

I had my last hockey match on the 29th of August… It was against Tutong… It was a one sided match… hehe… As usual, my team lost… hehe… 8-1…

Right after that, the official closing ceremony for Brunei National Hockey League was carried out… and the standings are as follows:

1st place and League winner is Majlis Sukan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei ‘C’
2nd place goes to Skim Jabatan Belia Dan Sukan (Brunei Muara) and
3rd place goes to Lunbawang (Temburong)

Best Performance team without cards given is Tagmaster (UBD+ITB)

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS!!!

With the league ended, there’s one more event to look forward… the PRESIDENT CUP TOURNAMENT… It will be held probably after the Hari Raya season… hehe… All teams qualify to participate in the competition for the tournament… Which means, I’m also gonna play… hehehe….

Another Family Outing

Another family update…

On the 24th of August, we had a picnic outing at Serasa beach… it’s not as many as before… But, almost everyone came… hehe… This time we plan to go for a picnic just to have lunch and tea time at the beach without anything to celebrate… hehe…

As usual, I’m the person who came first because I was asked to book the spot for the picnic outing… hehe… I came there as early as 7 o’clock while the rest came around noon… Even though it was quiet in the morning, the weather was very fine… The day was not hot, not raining, and the winds are blowing smoothly… I can relax on my own… hehe…

It was 12 o’clock, everyone’s here… and starting to set up their tables for foods… YEAH! I’m starving… hehehe… so… we had our lunch straight away!! Hehe… It was fun having lunch at the beach… the feeling was so relaxed… hehe…

After lunch, we had lots of talking and talking… my auntie, Bimor had a video call with my auntie in Bintulu using yahoo! Messenger… hehe… she brought her laptop with her along with Zoom! Broadband connection… Thanks TelBru!!

Hmm… what more aa??... In general… It was fun!!! Let’s have a look at the pictures… hee…

My Hockey Training

An update about my hockey activity!! Hehe… My sixth match is coming up soon… And the performance of my team is far from good… What to expect? No training!!!

We had lost all of our games and only won once!!! Our coach got really angry and asked us to train with him to improve our teamwork, skills and theory of playing…

The training started on Tuesday and ends tomorrow… Actually, the training goes on until December, but… My team is not allowed to train full time as we must concentrate on our work… That is why we will only train until tomorrow – this is the only time we are allowed to train…

The opportunity to train and improve my individual skills and teamwork amongst us is very much appreciated… Everyone came down to Lumut Hockey Training Pitch every morning giving our full concentration and having nothing to lose… I could say the training was tough but… I love it!!! Even though it is hard and made me experience muscle pains, dehydration, etc… I still want more!!! The training made me a better hockey player…

I love the training as I love the game… Moreover, there’s free food!!!! Hehehe… Training with food and drinks provided?? That is marvelous!! Hee… No matter how HOT the weather is, how Hard the training is, I am happy!!! Well, who don’t??

The training has caused us a lot of muscle pains… And we’ve improved!! I hope we will make a surprise to the other teams and win our matches to come… Now, I’m comfortable with my new team and I don’t think our teamwork will fall!!!

3rd Car and Audio Show Organized by YKF

On 16th and 17th of August 2008, this was last Saturday and Sunday… There was a Car and Audio Show organized by YKF (one of the car accessories shop) held at the parking lot of the National Indoor Stadium Brunei… It is the 3rd time such event was organized by them… In this event, the participants are competing for the best place in different categories… It includes Decibel (dB) test for Audio System of the participants who join the Sound System competition... and many more… hehe…

The event started off with the Audio competition… I wasn’t there to know who the winner is… In fact, I also don’t know who the winners of all categories are… My bad… hee… But, I took some snapshots of the cars which took part in the show…

I went there Saturday afternoon and took some pictures of the cars involved in the audio competition… Here’s some picture I want to share with you all…

As I was taking pictures, I heard the organizer announcing to the public that there’s going to be a Lighting Competition to be held later that night… So, I decided to stayed a little longer to have a view of it at night and with their neon lights on… Not to forget, pictures are taken too as well… hehe… Let’s give way to the pictures to do the talking…

Wow! That’s a lot to look at, right? Hehe… Wait till you see the next one… hehehe…

That night, I met a friend and he told me that the next day will be a big hit… Of course, I don’t want to miss the chance to see what’s happening next, right? Hehehe… I came again the next day and as my friend say… IT WAS A BIG HIT!!! Hundreds of people came to the show even though the weather was very hot… people from all range of ages came to see what’s boiling… hee… The parking lot was full of modified cars for show and some people with their cameras in hand having their time taking pictures with the attractive cars… Enough said, let’s again let the pictures do the talking…

To my surprise, even though it was a car and audio show, there are also bikes and bicycles for show on that day… Not to forget, they’re awesome!!... hehe… Here are some of the pictures of the bikes and bicycles…

Ok, that’s all about the Car and Audio Show event that I attended last weekend… I enjoyed the event even though it was hot… hehe… For your information, such event is held annually… Which means, more to come NEXT YEAR!!! Hehehe… I will surely attend such event again next year… hehehe… Stay with me… more to come!!
